AMY BOXER
Amy Boxer, a successful entrepreneur, has over 10 years experience
in the home furnishings and accessories business.
Prior to launching Welcome Home, Amy worked for the world's largest
furniture manufacturer as part of an outside sales team which
accounted for over $10 million in sales. She also started her
first business importing household accessories from Mexico, when
she was 22 years old.
Amy also has extensive international business experience. For
five years, she managed the licensing program in Asia and South
America for a leading world surf company. During her tenure, Amy
oversaw over 30 international licensees across 15 countries.
In addition to her commitment to entrepreneurship, Amy firmly
believes in giving back to her community. For the past three years,
she has volunteered with the East Bay Agency for Children, serving
as a group facilitator for grieving children who have lost one
or both parents. She also sits on the Board of Directors of Child
Abuse Listening, Interview and Coordination Center (CALICO), which
assists the Alameda County District Attorney's office in prosecuting
Child Abuse cases. Having lost her mother to breast cancer, Amy
has been active in the Avon 3-day walk, walking hundreds of miles
and raising tens of thousands of dollars to support breast cancer
research and local services.
Amy is a graduate of UCLA and currently lives in Oakland, California
with her husband Douglas Boxer and her son Zain.
DONNA LYNCH
Donna Lynch brings 30 years experience in the furniture industry
to her staging business. Having owned retail furniture stores
for 21 years she has invaluable experience buying and merchandising
her sales floors with the latest furniture and complimentary accessories.
After selling her retail business she became a Manufacturer representative
for many furniture and accessory lines. She worked for her companies
in sales and in addition designing and setting up their showrooms
in both North Carolina and San Francisco Furniture Markets. This
experience has lead her to a successful staging business.
Donna is the mother of two children and is a graduate of California
State University Sacramento and currently lives in Danville, California
with her husband Jeff Lynch.
Amy and Donna have created Welcome Home Furniture Rental providing fashionable furniture for the Real Estate Staging industry. In addition to renting furniture to stagers, Welcome Home offers complete staging services.
