Tanya Dari

PRESIDENT

As President of Welcome Home Staging, Tanya Dari leads both the creative vision and operational execution behind every project. Having joined the company in 2011, she brings a lifelong connection to the furniture industry and a deep appreciation for architecture and design.

Tanya has a rare ability to seamlessly bridge design excellence with operational efficiency, ensuring each home is not only beautifully staged, but delivered on time and at a consistently high standard. Her focus on client experience and results-driven staging has been instrumental in positioning Welcome Home as a trusted partner for top realtors across the East Bay luxury market.

Based in Walnut Creek, Tanya balances leadership with family life and can often be found starting her day on the Peloton or enjoying time with her husband and three children.

Karen Heyman brings a refined design sensibility and a calm, thoughtful approach to every project. Since joining Welcome Home in 2017, she has become a cornerstone of the creative team, known for her exceptional ability to visualize space, select inventory, and curate artwork that completes each home.

Her expertise in spatial planning and composition allows her to transform properties quickly and effectively, creating that “instant connection” buyers feel when they walk through a perfectly staged home. Karen also leads and manages the staging team, ensuring every installation reflects the company’s elevated aesthetic.

A Lafayette resident, Karen enjoys quiet evenings with a great book or a well-earned Netflix binge alongside her family.

    GENERAL MANAGER

    With a background in fashion and an instinctive eye for color, pattern, and detail, Michelle brings a distinctive creative perspective to the Welcome Home team.

    After studying fashion at Otis Parsons School of Design in Los Angeles, Michelle built a successful career in the fashion industry before bringing her talents to Welcome Home in 2020. Her years in design are evident in the way she approaches a space—layering colors, textures, patterns, and unexpected details to create rooms that feel polished, cohesive, and full of personality.

    Michelle is equally passionate about creating memorable experiences outside of staging. She loves entertaining and has a knack for bringing every element of a party together, from invitations and décor to food and the perfect playlist.

    A longtime Alamo resident, Michelle finds inspiration in fashion, interiors, magazines, and travel. She may love a beautiful neutral palette, but her own style is anything but boring—especially when it comes to her impressive shoe collection.

    Her creativity, dedication, helpful nature, and contagious laugh have made Michelle an invaluable part of the Welcome Home family.

    ACCOUNTANT

    Teresa Hrubesh has been a foundational part of Welcome Home Staging since 2014, overseeing all financial operations with precision and care. From managing payments to supporting large-scale inventory sales, she ensures the business runs with clarity, accuracy, and stability.

    Her expertise in corporate finance and operational support makes her an invaluable member of the team. Known for her reliability and willingness to jump in wherever needed, Teresa plays a key role behind the scenes in keeping the company moving forward.

    Based in Pleasanton, Teresa enjoys time with friends and family and is always looking forward to her next Lake Tahoe escape.
